This qualification is suitable for beginners and those with some foundational beer knowledge. If you are entirely new to the subject, we recommend starting with the Level 1 Award in Beer, though this is not a requirement.
The WSET Level 2 Award in Beer concentrates on the impact of essential ingredients and brewing methods on beer style and quality. It also provides instruction on tasting, describing, and assessing beer quality.
For beer or hospitality professionals, this knowledge enables you to provide insightful advice on selection and service to colleagues and customers. As a beer enthusiast, you'll gain the ability to choose the perfect beers for any event.
